OPIS
Geiger is a professional torturer whose methods know no bounds. His clients are referred to him by international corporations, government agencies and organised crime. His only rule is that he will never work on a child, but then he is confronted with a 12-year-old boy. He finds that he is unable to walk away and leave the boy to an unknown horror at another's hands. A debut novel with rich moral and psychological themes, with a central character who remains both compelling and empathetic, despite his vocation.
