Londoner Lee Bartholomew is a particular kind of woman. She ghostwrites the autobiographies of fascinating people, but she prefers to remain anonymous. She has a boyfriend she loves yet doesn't want to marry and an overbearing mother she can't seem to shake.
She's the kind of woman who has to touch a jamb four times before she can walk through the door-and definitely not the kind who solves murders. Then a neighbor in her posh Notting Hill quarter dies in a mysterious fire, and Lee gets a writing gig with an infamous soap opera star. When another inferno erupts even closer to home, the ghostwriter must come out of her shell to uncover the truth-or a killer will make all her fears come fatally true?
