Martin and Alex finish university and rent a house in the middle of nowhere with their girlfriends. While the girls try to find jobs, the boys spend the day sleeping, and the tensions build. But when a hedonistic American student arrives, events quickly spiral out of control. Debut novel, in a similar vein as Ian McEwan.
