OPIS
Traumatized by a recent investigation, San Francisco private eye Sharon McCone flees to her ranch in California's high desert country to decide how she wants to spend the rest of her life. McCone turns to the serene desert landscape for answers, but deep depression continues to shadow her days and nights. Yet even though she is determined not to investigate anything during her stay-and perhaps not ever again - McCone is drawn into a case concerning a troubled, highly secretive Native American woman and her dysfunctional family. As she becomes part of an investigation involving murder, betrayal, and hidden identities, we see a new Sharon McCone - one coming to terms with her Shoshone heritage, knowing when to step back and when to move forward, gun in hand, ready for anything.
